Holiday Activities – Overnight Camp, Aquatic Day & Nature Day BBQ!

The Easter school holidays are almost upon us and we have a fantastic set of activities for people with disabilities to consider.  Xlent will be delivering these activities in conjunction with sister company Wilderness Escape Outdoor Adventures and they include a 2 night, 3 day respite camp, an aquatic day, a nature day BBQ and one centre based day.

It’s a New Year, New Term and of course the New National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) model of funding which is being rolled out from 1 July for adults with a disability.

Holiday Programs

You are invited to register for Xlent’s specialist holiday programs for people with disabilities.  These will be available to children and adults with disabilities  and will take place on 20, 21, 22 and 23 December, 9am to 3pm.

These centre-based programs in Glynde are delivered in conjunction with our sister company, Wilderness Escape Outdoor Adventures.  We have many activities planned, including a Climbing Wall, Billy Carts, Bread Making, and Music Groups.  No van time.  Maximum fun time!

NDS Resources Update

Hi all – National Disability Services, the Federal agency that is implementing the National Disability Insurance Scheme, has released information on their new ZERO Tolerance Initiative.

NDIS full scheme roll out to commence in South Australia

Please find below some important information in regards to NDIS and when it will be rolling out in South Australia.

NDS welcomes the much anticipated announcement of the full roll out of the NDIS in South Australia.

Between February 2016 and June 2017 the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) will work with service providers to reach all eligible children in the 0-14 age group, and then commence the inclusion of young people from 15 to 17 as part of full scheme roll out commencing July 1 2017.
