Our Staff

This is X-man, mighty mascot of the team here at Xlent.  Our team is fondly known as the X-Crew who pride themselves on being Dedicated, Professional, Supportive, Compassionate and Inspirational.

The crew all hold a minimum of a Certificate III in Disability. Our staff successfully work with challenging participants. We have great success in improving participant’s behaviours.

  • Our experienced dedicated staff, backed up by a strong experienced management team, provide a positive attitude and a professional, accountable well organised team.
  • Our staff are focused on the welfare and safety of participants and have great empathy for them.
  • We pride ourselves on being an advocate for the participants with all staff members trained in mandatory notification.
  • Our staff will be a person who pleads for or in behalf of the participants.
  • We encourages close relationships between parents / guardians and house staff.

We have 5 dedicated training days per year plus participant alignment sessions through our fortnightly staff meetings.

    About Jenny

    I joined Xlent in May 2012. My son had already been involved with Xlent for a number of months, and I was happy with his progress and the way he has been empowered. I have now been a Group Facilitator at Xlent for 2.5 years. I have attained my Cert3 in Disability and am currently working towards Cert 4.

    I have a 20 year nursing background, and worked for 15 years in aged care.

    I live with my 3 adult children, 1 dog and 3 cats.

    About Kerrie

    Before coming to work at Xlent, I was a stay at home mum for 15 years. I bring to the company a mother perspective on looking after and nurturing the lives of people living with a disability. I started in April of 2013 and since then I have worked my way to become a Group Facilitator in August 2015.

    I feel I can contribute my acquired knowledge to my mentees.

    My future goal is to continue to upskill and learn more as I go, to give our participants the best care and also the best experience in our organisation.
