A day at the beach

Wednesday 17th April 2019
Sand, sun, surf – Semaphore! Get ready for an action-packed day of fishing, beach games, swimming, beach craft and sandcastle building. In conjunction with Wilderness Escape staff (with qualified surf life saving certificate).
Accessibility: Open to ages 8 years old and over. Beach is wheelchair accessible through a roll out mat and fishing is wheelchair accessible on jetty.
Cost: Participant Gap Fee $20 + GST, NDIS / Self funding cost on application.

Master Chef Easter Cooking Day

Thursday 18th April 2019
Come and join us for a day filled with yummy fun! Get creative in the kitchen and enjoy making and eating some Easter treats a tasty lunch. This is a real hands on experience teaching real life skills.

Cost: Participant Gap Fee $25 + GST, NDIS / Self funding cost on application.

Wildlife Experience

Tuesday 23rd April 2019
See all your favourite Animals including dingos, wombats, echidnas, bats and more.
Get up close and personal with these cuddly creatures, and even hold a koala! Don’t forget to bring your own lunch today.
Accessibility: Open to all ages. Some paths may not be wheelchair accessible.

Wheelchair Sports/Inclusive Sports Day

Wednesday 24th April 2019
Come and joins us for a day filled with sporting fun and a relaxing afternoon of board games at our northern centre. Try a variety of wheelie sports. Inconjunction with Disability, Recreation and Sports S.A.
Accessibility- Open all ages and abilities. Able bodied people welcome as chair provided for those who don’t have one.
Cost- Participant Gap Fee $40 + GST, NDIS / Self funding cost on application.

Mega Movie Day & Domino lunch

Friday 26th April 2019
Grab some popcorn and enjoy the latest blockbuster with your friends! Your lunch today is included, so no need to pack your own sandwich. Relax this afternoon with some board games back at our North Centre.
Accessibility: Open to ages 8 years old and over and all abilities – fully wheelchair accessible.
Cost: Participant Gap Fee $25 + GST, NDIS / Self funding cost on application.

Registration

  • All Xlent program attendance requires online registration. If you feel that you may have difficulties with the online registration, our office staff are more than happy to help you through the process. Contact us and make a time to visit our office.
  • Participants may be registered for multiple programs
  • When registering a new participant for a program, you will have to create an account for yourself as the carer or guardian of the participant.
  • When checking out if you are NDIS or DCSI funded, you will only have to pay the activity portion of the program to complete registration.
  • When checking out, if you are Self funding you will have to pay the total fee to complete the registration.

Funding Types

  • Xlent can work with all types of NDIS funding: Self managed, Plan Managed or Agency Managed.
  • For anyone still transiting from DCSI funding, Xlent can provide paperwork for you to apply for a DCSI contract.
  • Where a participant doesn’t have any formal funding, Xlent also creates agreements for people self funding.

Cancellation Policy

  • 24 hours or less notice of cancellation, 100% of the fare will be charged.
  • Cancellation within 24-78 hours, 75% of fare will be charged.
  • Cancellation prior to 78 hours, 50% of fare will be charged. In the event of a parent/caregiver collecting a participant from the program, full fare will be charged and no refund will be offered.
  • If either camp is cancelled due to lack of numbers we will attempt to offer you a place on some options of other programs.
  • If the day program you have selected is cancelled due to lack of numbers, we will attempt to find one or more options of a replacement on another day.
