Christmas Craft & Cooking

Tuesday 18th December 2018
Come and join us for a day filled with festive fun! Get creative with Xmas craft and enjoy making (and eating) some holiday treats.
Accessibility: Open to all ages and abilities.

Craft activities are: scrubbing brush wreath, cotton ball Santa, popstick tree ornaments, making mini grinches, banana santa & reindeer cookies.

Wildlife Experience @ Gorge Wildlife Park

Tuesday 8th January 2019
See all your favourite Aussie animals including dingos, wombats, echidnas, bats and more.
Get up close and personal with these cuddly creatures, and even hold a koala! Don’t forget to bring your own lunch today.
Accessibility: Open to all ages. Some paths may not be wheelchair accessible.
Cost: Participant Gap Fee $20, funding cost on application.

Is return transport provided? There is no pick up or drop of service provided for the Xlent holiday programs. Instead Xlent has selected meeting points for participants in Salisbury, Glynde, Cheltenham and St Mary’s.
Who are Xlent’s partners? The  recreational programs i.e. bushwalking; kayaking or camps are run in conjunction with Xlent’s sister company, Wilderness Escape Outdoor Adventures. Wilderness Escape have been running quality outdoor education programs for schools across South Australia for the last 25 years.

Port River Dolphin Cruise & Beach Walk

Put your Explorer’s hat on today – you’re going on an adventure along the historic Port River. Keep your eyes open for shipwrecks along the river, and hopefully see some dolphins! Enjoy a stroll and enjoy a yummy  ice cream. Don’t forget to bring your own lunch today.

Beach Adventure/Art & Craft Day @ Semaphore

Sand, sun, surf – Semaphore! Get ready for an action-packed day of beach games, swimming,  beach craft and sandcastle building.  In conjunction with Wilderness Escape staff (with qualified surf life saving certificate).

Mega Movie Day & Subway lunch

Thursday 17th January 2019
Grab some popcorn and enjoy the latest blockbuster with your friends! Your lunch today is included, so no need to pack your own sandwich. Relax this afternoon with some board games back at our North Centre.

Animal Adventure Day @ Adelaide Zoo

Tuesday 22nd January 2019
Take a walk on the wild side and explore the home of around 1800 exotic and native mammals, birds and reptiles! Enjoy a free guided walking tour of the Zoo or discover the animals at your own pace.

Learn to Sail & Fish with Wilderness Escape

Thursday 24th January 2019
Experience the excitement of sailing alongside Qualified Outdoor Educators from Wilderness Escape! Explore the Port River on a sailing boat, or try your hand at fishing and see if you can catch anything.
Accessibility: Open to all ages. Some physical activity required.
Cost: Participant Gap Fee $50, funding cost on application.
Location: Port River – GTS Dolphin

Registration

  • All Xlent program attendance requires online registration. If you feel that you may have difficulties with the online registration, our office staff are more than happy to help you through the process. Contact us and make a time to visit our office.
  • Participants may be registered for multiple programs
  • When registering a new participant for a program, you will have to create an account for yourself as the carer or guardian of the participant.
  • When checking out if you are NDIS or DCSI funded, you will only have to pay the activity portion of the program to complete registration.
  • When checking out, if you are Self funding you will have to pay the total fee to complete the registration.

Funding Types

  • Xlent can work with all types of NDIS funding: Self managed, Plan Managed or Agency Managed.
  • For anyone still transiting from DCSI funding, Xlent can provide paperwork for you to apply for a DCSI contract.
  • Where a participant doesn’t have any formal funding, Xlent also creates agreements for people self funding.

Cancellation Policy

  • 24 hours or less notice of cancellation, 100% of the fare will be charged.
  • Cancellation within 24-78 hours, 75% of fare will be charged.
  • Cancellation prior to 78 hours, 50% of fare will be charged. In the event of a parent/caregiver collecting a participant from the program, full fare will be charged and no refund will be offered.
  • If either camp is cancelled due to lack of numbers we will attempt to offer you a place on some options of other programs.
  • If the day program you have selected is cancelled due to lack of numbers, we will attempt to find one or more options of a replacement on another day.
