Work With Us!

Are you dedicated, professional, compassionate, supportive and inspirational?

Congratulations – you are eligible to apply to become a member of the Xlent X-crew.

Thank you for your enquiry regarding employment opportunities at Xlent Disability Services.  We offer challenging but rewarding work and we are always keen to employ passionate, motivated people that will fit well into our culture.

The first step in Xlent’s recruitment process is to make an appointment (1.5 hours) with a Disability Workforce Hub.  These hubs are a State Government initiative that offers a free service for employers and people thinking about entering the disability field.  Jobseekers will be assisted to develop individual career plans and be helped to fill identified vacancies within the sector.

Firstly, please make an appointment with your closest Disability Workforce Hub:

Northern Adelaide:       Contact Northern Futures on 1800 619 933 or email dwh@northernfutures.org.au

Southern Adelaide:       Contact Career Partners Plus on (08) 7231 5067

Regional:          Visit https://mysupportmychoice.sa.gov.au/working-in-the-disability-sector/jobs-and-skills

The Disability Workforce Hub will conduct an assessment called the Harrison Assessment with you.

IMPORTANT – you must tell the Hub you visit that you are going to apply to work at Xlent and to please send the results directly to us.  Please also provide them with your contact number, suburb and the name of the RTO where you studied.

PLEASE NOTE:  We will only accept Harrison Assessments directly from the Hub – so please do not send us your copy!

If the assessment shows that you are suited to the disability field and our organisation, we will send you an employment application form.  Please complete this and attach your resume and three references for us to make contact with.

Upon the completion of a successful reference check, we will set up a short interview with you here at Xlent for final consideration of your employment application.

Thanks again and good luck!
